It was one of those rare unscripted moments, when the bogus thin layer of patriotic veneer wore off, revealing just how morally corrupt the fanatical left has become towards President Trump.
HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher lamented to his audience that he hoped the Trump economy would fail, saying, “I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point, and by the way, I’m hoping for it because I think one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy.”
Adding, “So please, bring on the recession. Sorry if that hurts people but it’s either root for a recession, or you lose your democracy.”
No doubt that same irrational and erratic thinking from the unhinged left holds true for the President’s historic meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, in that some within the Democratic Party along with the mainstream media are secretly hoping that the summit will fail, simply because they hate President Trump so much, that they would rather see either our economy implode or this historic summit go down the tubes.
That was evident when the President put the “brakes” on the scheduled June 12th summit; the deranged media along with Democrat’s become almost “gitty” losing all sense of self-control. Sen. Brian Schatz, a Democrat from Hawaii, urged the President to listen to “career diplomats” and other experts when dealing with US-North Korean affairs.
Then Schatz arrogantly disrespected the President by publicly tweeting out, “We should listen to career diplomats, non-proliferation professionals, and experts in North Korea, he (Trump), are not good at this.”

Then again, “This is a setback. This is an error. This is what happens when amateurs are combined with warmongers. This is NOT secretly smart and clever, and any pundit or politician who even flirts with that idea is deeply, deeply unserious.”

Then there was leftist journalist Joe Conason, suggesting that the meeting with the North Korean dictator was destined to fail, even before it began, writing, “This outcome was ordained by the incompetence of the president.”
Julian Borger another far-left journalist attempted to outdo Conason’s disregard for the President’s negotiating skills, with this written quip, “The debacle had been predicted by just about anyone with any experience of negotiating with North Korea.”
Remarkably only days after the President dropped the announcement that America would not be meeting with the pint-sized dictator. Leader Kim Jong-un was sending out a “Valentine” to the President, and apparently pleading for the resumption of the meeting, which somehow got the attention of Christopher Hill, a former ambassador to both South Korea and Iraq, under President’s Bush and Obama, who complained that the pudgy North Korean leader had already “gotten the whole enchilada.”
Suggesting that North Korea had somehow achieved comparable status with the United States, however it’s worth noting that Hill aside from being U.S. ambassador was also responsible in 2005 for leading a 6-party delegation aimed at “resolving” the nuclear crisis in North Korea, which ultimately failed after almost 4-years of negotiations, and perhaps the reason behind the self-aggrandized analogies regarding North Korea and somehow attempting to justify his own failed negotiating skills.
When North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye-gwan reached out to President Trump (after being rebuffed) saying, “We express our willingness to sit down face-to-face with the U.S. and resolve issues anytime and in any format,” that false narrative by Hill regarding stature simply vanishes.
Moreover, under President Obama, North Korea for almost a decade was virtually ignored, allowing Kim Jong Un to continue developing his nuclear capabilities unabated. And unlike previous administrations, President Trump hasn’t bribed North Korea, hoping they’ll come to the negotiating table. In fact, just the opposite is true, this President through his negotiating style has gotten China (the only true ally of North Korea), to actually comply and cooperate in instituting the harshest sanctions ever, against the rogue régime.
President Trump is clear-eyed and resolute in his determination that North Korea gives up its nukes or else, which is something the left doesn’t understand, however, North Korea does. They’re learning quickly that the mightiest and “only” superpower in the world under this Commander-in-Chief isn’t afraid “if pushed” to use whatever means necessary in stopping North Korea from developing its nuclear arsenal, and at the end-of-the-day, that’s all that really matters.
