In the midst of the #MeToo Movement, comes a preposterous claim by Former Secretary of State John Kerry regarding the drowning death of Mary Jo Kopechne in 1969 (at the hands of Teddy Kennedy) and the numerous allegations of sexual assaults involving former President Bill Clinton.

CNN Host Jake Tapper brought the two events up during his interview with Kerry, stating that perhaps Democrats have no right to take the “moral high ground.”

At which point Kerry responded that the two men still had plenty of “integrity.”

Kerry stated that Ted Kennedy, “stood up and owned moments where he knew he’d stepped over the line… and he wasn’t about to be nominated to a lifetime position.”

That stunning comment, if you know the history of John  Kerry should surprise no one. Least we remind ourselves who this character truly is.

Kerry isn’t shy in supporting despots in Iran, or falsely accusing Vietnam Veterans of committing wholesale atrocities. In fact, in the 1970’s he used the “anti-war movement” as a way to launch his career into national politics — although it was later documented that many of Kerry’s claims were either falsified by anti-war activists of which he was a part of or never proven.

This brings us once again to the late great Teddy Kennedy, who on the night of July 18th 1969 drove his black Oldsmobile off the Dike Bridge on the island of Chappaquiddick, off Martha’s Vineyard.

The auto landed upside down in the tidal Poucha Pond, where the 37-year junior senator was able to crawl out of the submerged auto; however his 28-year old companion, a respected Democratic political operative was wedged inside the auto unable to move.

Kennedy claims he attempted to rescue Kopechne, diving underwater again and again without success.

Thus far a noble effort regarding a tragic accident, that is until Kennedy decided not to report the accident. He returned to his hotel room in Edgartown leaving the young woman underwater for close to 9-hours until her lifeless body was recovered the next morning.

John Farrar, a diver for the local fire department, was the first responder to reach Kopechne’s body and noted that the way the body was positioned suggested Kopechne was alive for an “unknown period of time after the car went underwater.”

He explained that her face was pressed into the foot-wall, and her hands had been gripping the back of the front seat as if she were trying to push her head and breathe into an air pocket.

Kennedy was a smart and savvy politician; he knew that if he had reported the accident the moment it happened, the police would immediately conduct a sobriety test on him. However, by waiting, the police couldn’t prove he was drunk.

Thus the police were unable to test Kennedy’s blood alcohol level at the time of the accident and had no other evidence of illegal activity.

In the end, the Kennedy name absolved him of leaving the scene of an accident in which a young woman’s life was lost. He received a two-month “suspended” jail sentence. The most severe punishment was a “temporary driving ban.”

No doubt for Democrats like Kerry, Kennedy is someone with “plenty of integrity.”

And her body was cremated (quickly) before her pregnancy (probably by Teddy) could be discovered/proven.

This is the same person who has for decades refused to help the left behind alive POW families have any information concerning the prisoners.
While, still in uniform, he met with the Vietnam delegation. He urged the Vietnam group to hold our for a better deal. He was not a member of the US team. His interference very probably is why the POWs were never released to come home.

It’s about time these “deplorable’s” are exposed for what they are. There are more than Kerry and Kennedy in that party.

Teddy Kennedy left a young woman to die, because he was a COWARD, with no morals. He would have gone to prison, if he wasn’t a Kennedy. NO, Ted Kennedy was a man of NO integrity !
