While the mainstream media and talking political heads attempt to tie President Trump to allegations of wrongdoing, the real culprits of political malfeasance go virtually unnoticed, according to a conservative-leaning watchdog group.
Not surprising the group zeroed in on the two most proponent politicians within Congress, House Speaker Paul (the perpetual RINO) Ryan and (sleep-walker) Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell for their lack of congressional oversight in their anemic handling of the hidden congressional “slush-fund” used for settling an epidemic of sexual harassment claims by congressional staffers.
The just acknowledged existence of the “slush-fund” paid for with taxpayer funds is used by both Republican and Democratic lawmakers in paying off congressional employees who’ve been sexually abused or harassed, in exchange for signing legal documents not to go public.
Remarkably the same politicians, who either kept silent regarding the “slush-fund” or have personally engaged in paying off their victims, are now attempting to target the President for using his “OWN MONEY” for allegedly paying off a consensual encounter with a porn star.
The ludicrous claims by legislators that they were “shocked” that such a “slush-fund” existed was quickly dashed after party leaders begrudgingly admitted that indeed such a fund has existed for years. In fact, the Committee on House Administration voted on each settlement and put out statistics that severely understated the scope of the problem.
Until Former Democratic, Michigan Rep. John Conyers came on the scene and sparked public outrage after details of his sexual escapades were revealed. Conyers had the good sense to resign. However, the publicity uncovered the veiled secret.
For the record the 6-candidates voted by the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT), for being one of six most corrupt politicians of 2018 are:
Former Rep. Elizabeth Esty of Connecticut, for her role in the sexual harassment cover-up, involving her chief of staff for “physically beating, sexually harassing and threatening to kill another one of the Congresswoman’s staff members.
Esty kept him on the payroll for months after the incident and then gave him a golden parachute after he left.
Second and third on the corrupt parade, are Senators Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Kamala Harris of California, who solicited campaign funds based on their involvement in the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, while the hearings were still ongoing.
“Senators are prohibited from campaign fundraising tied to their official duties,” FACT wrote.
Number 4 on the list is former congressional candidate Republican Russell Taub of Rhode Island, for creating an illegal “scam PAC” that took in over 1.5 million dollars, and he apparently kept the money.
Next Florida’s Democratic Senator Bill Nelson, who fabricated that voting machines in Florida were tampered with by Russia. FACT said he either lied or improperly disclosed classified information.
Last but certainly not least is New York Democrat Rep. Yvette Clarke, who knowingly acknowledged that 10% of taxpayer-funded expenses were suddenly unaccounted for. Her deputy chief of staff believed a theft scheme between the chief of staff and the IT aide was responsible for the loss.
However, Clarke failed to take action, moreover refused to discuss the apparent theft within her office.
No doubt this is just the tip of the iceberg, who else do you think should be on the list for 2018?
