By now we’ve all seen the video of a young teen smiling and wearing a red MAGA cap standing in front of the Lincoln Memorial with his classmates, while an elderly Native American bangs a drum and chants only inches from his face.
The brief video went viral over the weekend, sending unhinged leftist loons into a profanity lace meltdown as an assortment of progressives — including the mainstream media, Hollywood celebrities, and elected Democrats — flew into a collective rage, vilifying, condemning and threatening the students at Covington Catholic High in Park Hills, Kentucky.
The progressive mob pilled on with New York Times writer Kara Swisher posting “finding every one of these s***ty kids and giving them a very large piece of my mind.”
New Republic’s Jeet Heer tweeted out the Trump-supporting students were “racist.” While CNN’s Bakari Sellers proclaimed in a tweet, the kids should be “punched in the face.”
Progressive loon Alyssa Milano tweeted on Sunday that the Catholic students should be held accountable for their actions
While D-list comedian Kathy Griffin posted “I want NAMES. Shame them. If you think these—ers wouldn’t do you in a heartbeat, think again.”
Adding in another tweet, “Names please, and stories from people who can identify them and vouch for their identity. Thank you.”
Democratic congressmen John Yarmuth even suggested banning Trump apparel, in a bizarre rant on Twitter.
“I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of teenagers wearing MAGA hats until we can figure out what is going on. They seem to be poisoning young minds.”

However, on Monday another video emerged capturing the entire unedited version of what actually took place on Friday.
The video captures another group calling themselves the Black Hebrew Israelite movement, along with several Native American groups taunting the Catholic school students calling them ‘racists,’ ‘bigots,’ ‘white crackers,’ ‘f—-ts,’ and ‘incest kids.”
The video also clearly shows Nathan Phillips walking directly towards the students gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial banging his drum, while the students stand motionless.
Sandmann said he and his classmates had taken part in the March for Life and had arrived at the Lincoln Memorial to meet the buses that would take them back to Kentucky when the confrontation occurred.
“At no time did I hear any student chant anything other than the school spirit chants,” Sandmann said. “I did not witness or hear any other students chant ‘build that wall’ or anything hateful or racist at any time. Assertions to the contrary are simply false.”
That video apparently rocked at least one progressive back into reality with actress Jamie Lee Curtis admitting she rushed to judgment saying “There are two sides to every story.”
Adding, “I made a snap judgment based on a photograph & I know better than to judge a book by its cover. I wasn’t there. I shouldn’t have commented. I’m glad there wasn’t violence. I hope theses two men can meet and find common ground as can WE ALL.”
This was no doubt a difficult moment for Curtis. Progressives rarely apologize for their indiscretions, as exemplified by the continued silence on this matter by those same Hollywood elites who rushed to judgment only days before because it comported nicely with their progressive narrative.
As for young Nick Sandmann, he unwittingly becomes the face that progressives love to hate, simply because he’s white, a Catholic and a Trump supporter.
