It would appear that Socialist firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is having a few rough weeks after her initial coronation within the Democratic Party.
This latest incident came by way of Fox & Friends during a segment on Tuesday when guest Patrick Moore co-founder of Greenpeace was invited to lend his expertise regarding AOC’s proposed Green New Deal, moreover why he referenced the 29-year old Socialist a “pompous little twit.”
Moore explained that AOC’s brainchild is “silly” and outlandish:
“It’s a silly plan. That’s why I suggested that she was a pompous little twit,” Moore said. “Twit meaning silly in the British lexicon and pompous meaning arrogant. She really rubbed me the wrong way when she said she’s the boss. Because she can make up a proposal that’s completely ridiculous and no one else did. And that is what’s wrong about this.”
Moore also revealed to the Fox hosts, he attempted to reach out to the Bronx legislator on Twitter back on March 2nd hoping to speak to her regarding a viable alternative to fossil fuels.
“@ AOC, Pompous little twit. You don’t have a plan to grow food for 8 billion people without fossil fuels or get food into the cities. Horses? If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating. You would bring about mass death.”

The respected environmentalist also decided to once again weigh in on the issue of climate change, reiterating that indeed climate change is real. However, the absurd notion by progressive activists concerning a “climate crisis” and a doomsday forecast, is a myth politically manufactured and propagated by junk science.
“The whole climate crisis as they call it is not only fake news, its fake science. There is no climate crisis,” he told Fox News. “There is weather and climate all around the world. And carbon dioxide is the main building block of all life. That’s where the carbon comes from in carbon-based life which is all life on land and in the sea. And not only that a little bit of warming would not be a bad thing for myself being a Canadian and the people in Russia wouldn’t mind a little couple of degrees warmer either.”
Adding, “Yes, of course, climate change is real,” he continued. “It’s been happening since the beginning of time. But it’s not dangerous and it’s not made by people. Climate change is a perfectly natural phenomenon and this modern, warm period actually began about 300 years ago when that little ice age began to come to an end. There is nothing to be afraid of. And that’s all they’re doing is instilling fear.”
However “fear” is what extremists like AOC trade in, although at times even former allies like the AFL-CIO recognize a dangerous proposal that would cause “immediate harm to millions.”
On Friday the AFL-CIO sent a letter to both AOC and Sen. Ed Markey, the two leading Democratic lawmakers responsible for the Green New Deal’s push in Congress.
The letter signed by 10 national labor unions on the AFL-CIO’s energy committee, says the current proposal is “not achievable or realistic.”
Adding, “We welcome the call for labor rights and dialogue with labor, but the Green New Deal resolution is far too short on specific solutions that speak to the jobs of our members and the critical sections of our economy.”
Perhaps the biggest irony of all came about when GOP lawmakers introduced an amendment to debate the merits of the Green New Deal. However, House Democrats including AOC voted against the amendment.a
