The consensus among Biden watchers regardless if they’re on the right or left of the political spectrum, is that Biden is in trouble, not only in the political sense as this latest Monmouth University Poll released on Monday reveals, but also perhaps clinically.
This might be the reason why there’s been a sudden massive shift among Democratic primary voters moving away from the former Vice President towards Senators Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
The poll taken from August 16th to the 20th among 800 voting adults shows a huge movement away from frontrunner Biden, into a three-way statistical tie.
Both Sanders and Warren are actually tied for first place, with each receiving 20% of the vote, with Biden coming in at a close third with 19%.
The new poll numbers signal that the “2020 presidential nomination process may be entering a volatile stage.”
Biden has had a history within his last two outings for the Presidency, of starting out quick and then fading fast, due to assortments of whatever scandals would suddenly crop-up, forcing him out of the race.
This time the consensus among a diverse group of Biden watchers regardless of their politics, seems to be whether Biden is mentally capable of being President, which also might be a reflection of this latest poll.
Coincidently both Radical leftist Linda Sarsour and arch-conservative Newt Gingrich both tweeted out their concerns regarding Biden’s erratic behavior.
The extremist leader of the Women’s March noted on Sunday after witnessing Biden’s confusion over where he was during a campaign stop in Keene, New Hampshire over the weekend saying “I love this place. Look, what’s not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it?”
Adding, “And what a neat town, this is like a scenic, beautiful town. The mayor’s been a good guy, everybody has been really friendly. I like Keene a lot.”
Sarsour concerned at what she’s been hearing from Biden lately tweeted out, “This is actually not funny. It’s very sad. These can’t just be all gaffes. People need to be worrying about VP Biden’s overall health.

Likewise, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich reacted on Monday to Biden’s bizarre announcement to his supporters in New Hampshire that he is “not going nuts.”
Adding, “I’m not sure whether it was the medical school or where the hell I spoke. But it was on the campus,” referring to his speech at Dartmouth College.
Gingrich also tweeted out Monday just before the Monmouth Poll went public.
“When Vice President Joe Biden said “I want to be clear, I’m not going nuts,” it may have been strangest campaign slogan ever. It will be interesting to see how he recovers from planting the notion in voters mind. you could ask if he isn’t going nuts what is he doing?”

Other Biden watchers have also taken note of Biden’s worrisome gaffes, many concluding that this is a lot more than Joe’s traditional missteps and verbal blunders.
Fox’s senior political analyst Brit Hume also seemed concerned regarding Biden’s mental health.
“Biden has always made gaffes by the bushel, but some of his recent ones suggest the kind of memory loss associated with senility. E.G: This one, plus forgetting remembering he was not VP when meeting Parkland students, twice confusing Theresa May with Margaret Thatcher.”
— Brit Hume (@brithume) August 24, 2019
“America’s Mayor” Rudy Giuliani also weighed in on the Biden issue, tweeting out.
“Pay attention to Britt Hume’s evaluation of Biden’s cognitive impairment. Corrupt media is covering up for Biden on mental incompetence and major scandals.”
— Rudy Giuliani (@RudyGiuliani) August 26, 2019
This Monmouth Poll is significant when compared to June’s poll in that the rumors concerning Biden’s mental health after a series of memory gaffes is perhaps reflected in how Democratic voters view Biden now, in that within less than 3-months the former VP went from a 32% high to 19%, a drop of 13%.
While few in the mainstream media are reporting that Biden’s infamous gaffes might be a result of memory loss, there is a growing consensus among progressives and conservatives alike that something isn’t right with “sleepy Joe.”
