The esteemed professor argues that the 1st and 2nd Amendments of the Constitution needs to be thrown out… because they’re old fashion, not “absolute” and don’t reflect today’s society (THANK GOODNESS).

He believes that as society continues “growing and evolving” and those Amendments should reflect society — or more accurately, the wishes of professors like himself where diverse views are rarely permitted within the hallowed halls of academia.

Kellner’s expertise isn’t in political science, civics, or American history, but rather in gender studies, Germanic languages, including works within media and film.

In an interview spotlighted by Campus Reform this week, Kellner offered some thoughts on a topic that is outside his areas of expertise; the Constitution and American politics. Kellner subtly suggests that his opinion on the 2nd Amendment was shaped by his personal experience with the Virginia Tech shooting. In April 2007, Kellner was on his way to deliver a lecture on Virginia Tech’s campus when the shooting was taking place.

“I was researching media spectacle at the time,” Kellner said. “I started reading about the shooting … and thinking about Columbine and other school shootings and the key ideas just hit me. It’s been the same idea for every one of these shootings, that we have an out-of-control gun culture and a crisis of masculinities.”

Adding, “These young men who were in crisis… resolved it through these shootings and it became a media spectacle.”

The professor’s solution to his convoluted jumbled analogy is of course to either ban guns (his ultimate aim) or limit our constitutional and inalienable right to self-defense, by restricting and or eliminating both our 1st and 2nd Amendments.

According to Kellner, American “notions” of free speech and gun rights have evolved over time.

The esteemed professor almost on cue blames President Trump and his administration for the recent shootings.

“The toxicity of gun culture has created a new factor that we have never seen before, that was a major factor in the last few shootings, and that was the election of Donald Trump, and in particular, Trump’s rhetoric on immigrants,” Kellner said. “There haven’t been particular racist school shootings before, or acts of domestic terrorism.”

Let’s take a moment and examine that ridicules hypothesis by the gender studies professor, and actually, fact check which of the last 4-Presidents (not including President Trump) presided over more mass shootings while in office

President George H.W. Bush: 1989-93 (4-years in office) 12-mass shootings

President Bill Clinton: 1993-2001 (8-years in office) 23 mass shootings

President George W. Bush: 2001-09 (8-years in office) 20 mass shootings

President Barrack Obama: 2009-2015 (in 7th year) 162 mass shootings

Moreover, 5 out of the 12 deadliest mass shootings in American history happened under Obama’s watch, in his first term as President.

To actually get a better understanding regarding the unprecedented mass shooting under President Obama compared to his predecessor President Bush…mass shootings surged to 246.7%

Professor Kellner like almost all leftist educators conflates facts to comport with his own progressive narrative, to get the results he’s looking for. However, in this particular instance, it’s evident that Kellner’s overwhelming bias towards the President resulted in a sloppy and lazy attempt to equate President Trump to gun violence when the actual facts prove otherwise.

Our Founders realized when they created this unique experiment called America, that there would someday be individuals like Professor Kellner attempting to dismantle the foundation of what sets us apart from the rest of the world, in that our rights come from a higher power, and not from government.

President Trump really needs to totally and massively revise the education system. Number one priority. What we have had going as an education system from kindergarten on up for the last 50 years or so is definitely not working, judging from the result that we see as so called adults. The indoctrination they currently receive molds them into sheeple.

This Keller is the old one who should be pushed out. Now is the time to nip this crap in the bud. News media should have never mentioned it. Take the average guy on the street who worked jobs that keep our country going. Not these half wits. This man, give him zero credence.

So, the esteemed professor thinks he is more enlightened than several hundred of our founding fathers? Not by a long shot, pun intended. He has the luxury of approaching the subject from his easy chair in his ivory tower, while our founders learned their government skills while fighting the British (the world preeminent military power of the time); who should be judged more competent?
