The Club of Rome is a powerful collection of international elites who claim to serve humanity but lie like dogs on a rug.
In 1968, the members of the original Morgenthau group founded the Club of Rome during a meeting at billionaire banker David Rockefeller’s private house in Bellagio, Italy. Culled from 25 nations, the Club of Rome was established by 75 prominent industrialists, economists, and scientists, many drawn from NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) member countries.
Aurelio Peccei, an Italian industrialist with close ties to the Olivetti Corporation and Fiat, organized the meeting. Peccei told the global leaders that a New World Order could bring world peace and ensure prosperity.
The New World Order (NWO) was not a new idea in 1968. In 1940, as World War II raged, famous futurist author H. G. Wells advocated the formation of a ‘new world order’ to unite all nations and bring peace and end war in his book The New World Order.
The Club of Rome was created to speed up plans to have the NWO in place by the year 2000. This masterplan called for dividing the world into ten regions or kingdoms. You wouldn’t know it from their web page with its noble prose:
“The Club of Rome is an organization of individuals who share a common concern for the future of humanity and strive to make a difference. Our members are notable scientists, economists, businessmen and businesswomen, high-level civil servants and former heads of state from around the world. Our mission is to promote understanding of the global challenges facing humanity and to propose solutions through scientific analysis, communication and advocacy.”
The first report of the Club of Rome was the famous The Limits to Growth, published in 1972 by an MIT research team coordinated by Donella and Dennis Meadows, Jorgen Randers, and William W. Behrens III who prophesied doom and gloom at the rate things were going on the planet:
“The earth’s interlocking resources – the global system of nature in which we all live – probably cannot support present rates of economic and population growth much beyond the year 2100, if that long, even with advanced technology.” [emphasis added]
Note the use of the word “probably” by the international team of researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who studied the implications of continued worldwide growth. The scientists examined five basic factors they claimed determine and, in their interactions, ultimately limit planetary growth:
- Population increase
- Agricultural production
- Nonrenewable resource depletion
- Industrial output
- Pollution generation
The MIT team generated a computer model and tested several sets of assumptions to determine alternative patterns for mankind’s future. Based on this academic speculation, the MIT group created a big problem that was entirely hypothetical – based on guesses, not facts. But good news, everyone! These NWO tools also conveniently provided the solution to the problem they had just invented:
“Man can create a society in which he can live indefinitely on earth if he imposes limits on himself and his production of material goods to achieve a state of global equilibrium with population and production in carefully selected balance.”
For generations, global government advocates, including the powerful Club of Rome, have conspired to unite the world against a “global threat” they identify so that a governing body can respond by fighting the “common enemy” behind the fictional hazard.
Any threat, real or imagined, would serve to justify empowering international institutions. Because “Global problems require global solutions,” the threat had to be so big that a single country couldn’t deal with it alone.
After failing to push the world into a state of panic about overpopulation, the globalists turned to “anthropogenic (man-made) global warming” – AGW.
A 1991 report from the Club of Rome titled The First Global Revolution stated candidly:
“In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill.
“All these dangers are caused by human intervention…The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.”
This NWO conspiracy is unquestionably behind the UN’s fraudulent and destructive climate change agenda which blames a theoretical global catastrophe on consumers forced for decades to buy fossil fuels for energy.
It is worth noting that the UN has placed burdens only on citizens of the developed world. The non-developed world hasn’t been saddled with new agendas for “global sustainability.”
Americans under President Donald Trump successfully distanced themselves from the globalists’ reach by withdrawing from the UN’s 2015 Paris Climate Agreement on June 1, 2017. During this highly touted event, the Club of Rome’s Climate Emergency Plan outlined 10 priority actions for all sectors and governments as “an urgent wake-up call,” making the unsupported claim that “climate-related risks are significantly more dangerous to human life and to the systems that sustain us.”
Debunking the myth of AGW is gaining ground as Truthers separate scientific fact from political fiction. Just say NO! to the Club of Rome’s NWO agendas.
